Synthesis, a process which combines together two or more pre-existing elements resulting in the formation of something new. This is the basis for these forms, made from two to three relatively simple lines, synthesized to create highly complex and intricate forms.
Jeff Knowles lives in London and is the co-founder of the graphic design studio Planning Unit, Re:Est 2011. Clients include: Knoll, Salomon, D&AD, Design Museum, BBC, Twin Magazine, pq-eyewear, Computer Arts Collection and Paris Saint-Germain FC. His typeface Spira Mirabilis was exhibited in The Blojects and Beyond exhibition at the San Jose Museum of Art. His piece Anarchy of the Mind was exhibited at the Anti-Design Festival in 2010. Jeff has a keen interest in photography, and has a image collection with fontshop's fStop.
